Kindness is a type of behavior marked by acts of generosity, consideration, or concern for others, without having an expectation of praise or reward.

Kindness in Islam

One of the greatest human beings to walk the earth and who was also the best example of compassion and kindness in human form, was the Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu alayhi wa sallam). He said:

“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter.

Acts of Kindness

Donations by Rizq

One of the acts of kindness I did that made me feel alive and helped my realizing the importance of kindness was iftar donations by Rizq organization. It made me realize the blessings we have and blessings that we take for granted.

Helping a Friend

Once my friend had a tough schedule. She had a lot of projects to do and also had to complete a practical notebook so I helped her in making that notebook.

Helping a teacher

Once at University bus stop I saw my teacher waiting for bus. She had to go somewhere ungently but none of the buses had an empty seat. So I asked one of the bus drivers to reserve a seat for her.

Treating Friends

Once me and my friend organized a treat for our other friends. I planned this to make my friends feel good and to thank them for always being their for me and supporting me in every situation.

Cloth Donation

Once in college one of my class fellow wasn’t able to buy a new uniform for her. She told me about this and I gave her my saved pocket money to buy a uniform and also donated some of my warm clothes to her. The smile on her face made me feel really good.
